Senator takes to the pulpit over TSPLOST vote

“I’m going to make sure when you leave here this morning you are going to have the truth about voting on July 31,” Fort told the congregation.
Less than 30 seconds after walking to the podium, Fort jumped right into the Transportation Special-Purpose Local-Option Sales Tax, or TSPLOST debate.
“These folks have $8 million wanting you to vote for the TSPLOST, but what they are not telling you when you go to the store to get your milk and bread you are going to have to pay an extra penny,” Fort said.
