“Glass contacted The Dodge County News at press time and stated, “Minutes before the county commissioners meeting, I was handed a copy of an e-mail from Lowndes GOP Chairman where he accuses the Governor of offering to campaign for democrats in local elections in exchange for TSPLOST support. Immediately, I thought about the appointment in last week’s paper where the Governor appointed Dan McCranie to a State Leadership Committee. I asked Mr. McCranie did the Governor have anything to do with his appointment and I could not get a straight answer. All he said was, “I might have had a call last Friday.”
